Andrews-Cooper Technology, Inc. Applying Design Ingenuity to Your Success

Leadership Team

In 2000, Neal Andrews and Steve Cooper ventured out to test the entrepreneurial waters and established Andrews-Cooper Technology (ACT). Building on their talent, their work ethic, and the energy of their complementary personalities, they established a growing contract engineering business.

Neal Andrews

Neal Andrews, co-founder and senior designer, with over 20 years of experience in project management, concept generation and innovative product design. His materials and process knowledge allow him to address demands for fast track design, ruggedness, water-resistance, low-manufacturing costs, and more. Product accomplishments include defibrillator design, ink jet printhead test systems, tape backup, and other electronic products. Neal has over 20 patents to his credit for unique enclosures and product performance testers. He is a graduate of Oregon State University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.

Steve Cooper

Steve Cooper, co-founder and senior designer, with 25 years of experience. His career started as a machinist, progressed to lead engineer for design of integrated, medical devices, and then founder of ACT. Steve is competent with thermal, vibration and stress analysis; water-proof and rugged product design, rapid prototyping and design-for-manufacture and has extensive technology knowledge: injection moulding, vacuum formed and extruded plastics, sheet metal, screw machines, springs, EMI shielding and cast parts.
